Privacy Policy
Last updated October 2026.
Roman Players (a division of Cyborg Interactive, LLC, Rome, New York) operates this website and its box office. This policy explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
- When you book: your name, email address, phone number if given, the notes you add, and the details of your order. Payments made online are handled by Stripe, which collects your card details directly; we receive only a confirmation and the last four digits.
- When you join the mailing list: your email address and, optionally, your name.
- When you contact us: whatever you include in your message.
- Automatically: standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) kept for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
To fulfil and manage your booking, to contact you about the performance you booked (including cancellations or changes), to answer your messages, and, if you joined the list, to tell you about future productions. We do not sell or rent personal information.
Who else sees it
- Stripe processes online payments (stripe.com/privacy).
- Our email provider delivers confirmations and newsletters.
- The venue receives a door list with guest names, party sizes and any dietary notes for the performance you booked.
- Hosting and storage providers that run this site.
Keeping and deleting it
Order records are kept for accounting purposes. You can unsubscribe from the mailing list with the link in any email or by writing to us; we will remove your address within a few days. To ask what we hold about you or to have it deleted where the law allows, write to [email protected].
Cookies
The public site sets no tracking cookies. The box-office console uses a single session cookie for staff log-in.
Changes
We will post any changes here with a new date.
